The past week has been a whirlwind.  I was racing with time rushing to dinners and then fashion shows. After finding out a new restaurant opened really close to me, I thought we had to go check it out!

It is hidden in a small alley but filled with histories. Back 20 years ago or so, it was the best club in the city! (This little  piece of  confidential info came from a trusted source which I will reveal in my next post!)Processed with Rookie Cam

Here is the entrance.IMG_9127

The room is filled with loud conversations, laughters, and mixed with trendy music. If you want to go there for a date night, it would be hard not to scream at each other’s face.

With a high expectation we sat down & placed our orders right away.

By the time another group arrived next to us, which was half an hour later, not even our tables were set.

Finally, when a waitress came with utensils,  she surprisingly set them up for the later arrived “neighbors” instead of us. She then moved one of our small tables to the ”neighbors” without asking for our permission first. And after these people finished eating, not even our appetizers were here!

With slight irritation and not wanting to be late for the show, we waived at the waitress and wondered about our food. She apologized for their service and promised us their food usually arrives very quickly (of course, just not this time for us. Should I blame it on mercury retrograde?hah!)

For God knows how long, our food came. Was it worth the wait? Not at all but it wasn’t bad.

We went for the treats.

And cheered up each other with cocktails.

In the end, the food were on the house. We paid for our drinks and left.

It was a fun show, something I’d never wear but definitely satisfied my curiosity.
