If you know me, you already know that I am a health freak sometimes. When it comes to clean eating I do a lot of research based on my cravings.

As I surf through thousands of recipe online, Aguachile captured my attention. This refreshing, light, tasty dish is so easy to make.

After I made my little grocery list, it’s time to change, jump into the cold weather and head to Whole Foods (or whatever that is close to you).

Honestly, soft afternoon light makes such a difference in photos.

Here is what you need:

  • Cilantro
  • Onion
  • Lime
  • Cucumber
  • Sea bass or Shrimp


  • Salt & Pepper

Also, some tortilla would be nice but it’s optional.


  1. Soak raw shrimps in fresh lime juice, make sure they’re all covered in it. (use cooked shrimp if you want to skip this step)
  2. Blend lime juice from shrimp, cilantro, salt & pepper in blender
  3. Cut cucumber and onion in chunks
  4. Mix them all in one big bowl and serve

Depends on how many people you are serving, the ingredients are flexible so you can measure as your need.
