It’s nice to take a break from eggs benedict and fluffy blueberry pancakes once a while. Agu and I went for spanish tapas slash brunch at Barcelona.

However, I couldn’t resist some good french toasts with extra cream when I go brunching.

These were amazing! Fresh homemade bread swimming in warm caramel sauce and sided with bananas and whip cream.

Agu took care of the cheese plate and I took gear of ordering the tapas.

We went with the pork belly, eggplant, patatas, and the “truffled bikinis.”

In sum, I wasn’t amused by any of these but the idea of trying something different for brunch was a nice change.

Agus loved her coffee, the satisfaction is written all over her face.

The environment is great, there are two dinning areas separated by a big bar in the center of the restaurant.

Agu is an interior design major, so I insisted on taking her to Restoration Hardware after brunch. It’s next to Newbury st and in the beginning of Arlington.

It’s definitely a place worth visiting if you’re looking for furnitures or simply has a heart for interior design!

By the time we headed out, the sun has shied away and left a beautiful ombre in the sky.

I took a few moments to enjoy the beautiful evening and then headed to Saif and Naty for a dinner party.

I’m so happy to introduce you to their brand new baby – Katana! IMG_4856

While Anita was making Arepas, I kept myself busy with Katana. IMG_4862

I told Katana it’s time to go for a walk, but she insisted in walking herself!

Girls these days…
