Sanela and I were randomly put together as roommates sophomore year in college. It took us a while to get over the awkward “strangers” phase. Mainly because the only time she spent in the room was when she’s in bed sleeping.
I almost thought she hated me. Later on I found out she’s just not a people’s person.
We are so polar opposite but somehow we get along. She is one of the few people who can handle my sarcasm, and able to manage come backs in all creative ways…
San graduated before I did, and I rarely get to see her ever since. And now she’s in town for a quick visit, we met up for coffee and some catch ups.
What’s good for the summer? Big, iced, strong latte!
Our convo has always been intensively mixed with body languages… And I don’t remember what I was trying to express..
After coffees and cake, we took a stroll to the Boston public library.
A little piece of solitude right in the middle of the busy area. I wonder when do they turn on the fountain..
A friend once told me, the quality of ones friendship/relationship isn’t determined by how long it has lasted. It could be years, it could be days, and it could be just a glimpse like the song “You’re Beautiful” by James Blunt.
I think I finally understand this concept now.
“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
