“You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true. ”  — Illusion

It’s a quote from my all time favorite author Richard Bach. This man is a true master of life and I wish one day I’d reach his level.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum sits right next to the Museum of Fine Arts. The woman behind this bold, exotic creation is Isabella Stewart Gardner herself. A Bostonian socialite, patron, & friend of many famous artists at the time.

She had a wish & made it come true.

With a like-minded husband, Jack Gardner, they traveled the world & collected exquisite art pieces which are now housed at the Isabella Museum.

I could only imagine the kind of lady she was from Victorian era with such courage & opened mind!

Thanks to a much needed Labor Day long weekend, I finally squeezed some time to visit it.

Cameras are only allowed in the courtyard & first floor, no more spoilers, you have to go see it with your own eyes!

This garden is so exotic that it reminds me of the scene from Game of Thrones where Kahleesi was stuck with Pyat (here)!

I wish my future house has a court yard like this and host dinner parties at summer nights.

After feeding our eyes with Isabella’s art collections, I was ready to feed my belly at this cute little cafe in the museum. M had to go to the gym afterwards, she only had a coffee.

Welps, She missed out big time.

Promise me you’ll try the Burrata Watermelon Salad when you’re visiting! It’s so fresh so summery and so delicious.IMG_7633
