Nothing!

When the Turkish coffee kicks in, we wrapped ourselves warmly and made our way to the museum of fine arts!

*If you’re wondering, Turkish coffee has a very different taste than coffees from other countries. It doesn’t taste as bitter or thick, you need to try it to understand it. clair zhan, the eye traveler, museum of fine arts, boston blog, boston lifestyle blog

This is something new in the museum and I absolutely love it!

As you read above, this is Marilyn Arsem’s final chapter of her e-book 100 Ways to Consider Time, she comes here 6 hours every day for 100 days to present an art piece that reflects on modern life.  More info please find here.

Our visit was on her 66th day of creation, did I mention she brings something different each day??

If you’re interested I encourage you to visit or – thanks to technology – you can find her art by searching #MarilynArsem on instagram, people are posting live constantly.

Contemporary art is one of my favorites because it’s so relatable and at ease to understand.

I was surprised to find this little gem by Monet, very different. IMG_3955

I can stare at impressionism art all day long, they just look so alive that makes me feel like I can almost smell the moist air and feel the sunlight on my skin. IMG_3954

There are several cute dinning areas in the museum, this one is the easiest to find. However, if you’re feeling adventurous, my hint is there’s a hidden brunch place in the sculpture section (wink) !
