“Hair gets lighter. Skin gets darker. Water gets warmer. Drinks get colder. Music gets louder. Nights get longer. Life gets better.”
Summer might be over but I still can share the memories with you, can’t I?
Today, I’m showing you my favorite Thai restaurant and my favorite little white dress from reformation (here).
I love a good wrap dress, especially with cute fringes and edges. It adds a touch of femininity and softness, simply charming.
“Be soft. Do not let the world make you hard.”

Similar options to the Kelsey Dress.
“The only two important things in life are real love and being in peace with yourself.”

I’ve been a bit carried away lately, by some unimportant events. I wish I could tell you everything but the lesson was: always trust your gut feeling.
If it doesn’t feel right, don’t do it!
When it happened last week, I felt it in my stomach that I shouldn’t agree to “help”, yet I didn’t listen to my feeling so the consequence was causing my peace of mind.
Anyhow, I’ve overcame it and I just want to share more of my thoughts with you. Hoping it can be helpful in someway.
Palm trees, dim light with a 80s vibe and a touch of sexiness, Indochine sits on a quiet street in Noho.
A French-Vietnamese joint brims in fun ambiance and delicious food. Get a good seat, because you’ll have a delightful time people-watching ;)
I think it’s a nice place to kick off the weekend!
Another good spot for equally yummy food but more casual take is Bo Caphe in Soho. Chic and small, perfect for a cute date.
We can go on an exploration of the world, breathe the wild air, try all the exotic food, and laugh until our bellies hurt. You know what I mean right?
But recently I came to the realization that instead of looking for it, become it first.
I want to be an inspiration to other people’s lives. It doesn’t have to be big, a little spark will do just fine.
B.O.Y. did it kick my ASS!! Literally!
I consider myself as: okay fit. By that, I mean I sometimes do yoga or run by the Charles River.
And whenever I complain about my body, my friends would shoot me a “shut up” eye roll.
BFX Studio started in NYC and now it has branched out to Boston. I was luckily invited to try it out by Blog&Tweet.
I wasn’t feeling great lately, the person I always go to is Adriana.
She sees things from a whole perspective which brings me a sense of comfort.
My sweet company took me to the beach for a getaway, it was the best decision ever.
“Sooo I want to be there early, like before 1pm.” Greg insisted.
“Ummm, but we’re only supposed to be there before 1:30pm tho…” me trying to push as late as possible.
Annnnd, the next thing we know was me holding up my gown running down the street in my heels while trying to pull my hair off of my face in the freezing wind. Greg ( smart enough to) direct the Uber driver turning to a wrong street which was why I had to meet them one block down where I live.
Oh if you’re wondering, it was 1:35 when we finally heading to graduation.
What you give is what you get. This is something mom always reminds me as I’m growing up. I was a naughty kid with not many friends, that’s when my Capricorn moon comes out. And I remember when I was little I would always ask mom why everyone loves her, even the gardener gives her the highest respect. Her answer was simple, “Because I respect everyone and am friendly to everyone. You should do the same!”
I’m sure everyone knows this concept but execute such kindness truly and daily isn’t easy. It’s ok if you forget sometimes, but just remember give out good and good will come to you.
Don’t you sometimes just have those cravings that you absolutely HAVE to eat those PANCKAES? Yea me too, especially the kind where they stack up in piles, swimming in maple syrup and powered with sugar. Pancakes? or the dream summer body? Decisions, decisions, decisions…
Don’t worry, I’ve got cha! Remember those super healthy vegan pancake on Instagram? I’ve played around the recipe and here is my Clair-Proved gluten free, dairy free, bloat free, yummy blue berry banana pancake dealio.
To us and our summer body! Cheers!
The only Greek restaurante we have in downtown Boston is that tiny little fast-food stop near government center. They do make a kickass gyro but it does not do justice to Greek food.
So I decided to make my own and share this quick, yummy, low fat shrimp saganaki recipe for you.
100% clair-proved and most importantly cook it with love and it’ll always turn out great :p
