Sara came up with the idea of going to SOWA food truck on sunday. The thought of bouncing around different food trucks and tasting each one of their unique food just made me happy already. I was ecstatic with this suggestion because I haven’t been to one since high school! Armar came to pick us up on sunday afternoon and once we got there, they told us the SOWA ended two weeks ago…

With the enormous disappointment, our hearts were wounded and craving for some comfort food. After a quick 2 minutes of discussion of where to eat we decided to go to parish cafe for some heart warming sandwiches.
Fun facts about Parish, the owner Gordon Wilcox visited every famous chef in Boston and asked them each to make a sandwich for Parish Cafe Menu. So you can try the best sandwiches in just one cafe without running like a crazy person in the windy boston :) Thank you Gordon for making our lives easy!

Sooo here we go, I got the mexican meat ball simply because I’m practically in love with mexican food. It has cilantro rolled into the meatballs on a finely toasted baguette with red onions, Romaine lettuce, and tomatoes, and melted cheese. And a fresh salad on the side in a cilantro-lime vinaigrette.

Armar had the Meatloaf Club, and a side of mashed potatoes.

and sara went for the simple chicken sandwich. All of our sandwiches are eye-rollingly good, so if you’re around and need some hearty food, stop by Parish!
